Senatorial Scholarship Applications Now Available
Senator Brochin Encourages All Students in the 42nd Legislative District to Apply for 2013-2014 Senatorial Scholarship Money
Students residing in the 42nd Legislative District seeking undergraduate and graduate degrees at Maryland Institutions of Higher Learning are encouraged to apply for a Senatorial Scholarship from the office of State Senator James Brochin.
Senatorial Scholarships are awarded based on academic and/or financial criteria. The award is renewed yearly for four years or until the completion of the degree being sought, whichever occurs first.
The requirements for a Senatorial Scholarship are residency in the 42nd Legislative District, part-time or full-time enrollment in a Maryland Institution of Higher Education and completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the March 1, 2013 deadline, and the scholarship application. All Senatorial Scholarship applications must postmaked by March 31, 2013. Please note that only complete applications with all required attachments will be considered.

Senator Brochin has appointed a committee of three Republicans and three Democrats to review and make decisions on all Senatorial Scholarships.
